HPB Undergraduate Scholarship (Full-Term/Mid-Term)

Courses / Disciplines: Preferred fields of study:
Majority of the disciplines except Medicine, Dentistry, Accountancy, Legal and all Allied Health Sciences.
Universities / Institutions: Reputable local or overseas universities
Value & Benefits: • Tuition and compulsory fees
• Monthly allowance
• Pre-study allowance (for Full-Term only)
• Sponsorship for approved developmental programmes
• Return economy airfare (for overseas studies only)
Requirements: • Outstanding A-level results, diploma with merit/distinction or equivalent qualifications, (e.g. International Baccalaureate (IB) or NUS high school diploma) (For Full-Term Scholarship)
• Undergraduates with outstanding academic results and expect to graduate with at least Second-Class Upper Honours or equivalent (For Mid-Term Scholarship)
• Notable co-curricular achievements and community involvement
• Strong leadership qualities such as collaborative mindset and learning orientation
• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents who are willing to take up citizenship
Bond Duration: • Full-Term Scholarship
4 years (local university)
6 years (overseas university)

• Mid-Term Scholarship
The bond duration will be commensurate with the remaining duration of study

Home Team Science and Technology Agency Read Feature

HTX Scholarship

Courses / Disciplines: STEM disciplines (Engineering, Computer Science, Sciences or relevant specialisations) or Courses approved by the agency
Scholarship Type: Undergraduate
Universities / Institutions: Reputable local universities
Value & Benefits: • Tuition fees, maintenance allowance and other approved charges (Tuition and compulsory fees incurred before the award will be back-paid for mid-term scholarship holders)
• Pre-studies allowance (one-time payment)
• Travel allowance – Return airfare (if applicable)
• Sponsorship of Master's degree (if requirements are met and subject to approval)

Requirements: • Singapore Citizen
• Possess good leadership qualities and potential, as well as good interpersonal and communication skills
• Passionate about Science and Technology and/or Home Team operations
• Good academic and Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) records demonstrating good leadership qualities, and/or good interpersonal and communication skills
• GCE A Levels, International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic or NUS High School diploma, or other high school diploma/certificate
Note: Candidates may apply prior to receiving their final examination results. Should the candidate be found suitable for a scholarship, a provisional scholarship may be offered that is subject to confirmation upon the release of the results.
• Good University results (for current undergraduates). Current undergraduates must be undertaking undergraduate studies with at least one semester of university results and not be in the final year of undergraduate study.
Bond Duration: For undergraduate study in English-speaking countries:
6 years

For undergraduate study in non-English speaking countries:
5 years
