IE Singapore Undergraduate Mid Term Scholarship (Local)

Courses / Disciplines: All undergraduate courses (except Law, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy and Architecture).

Bond Duration: • 1-year bond for every year of sponsored studies from point of award

Tenable in approved local universities.

Overseas awards:
Tenable in top overseas universities
Value & Benefits: The Scholarship gives you the flexibility to choose to study either a local or an overseas course. You will receive full sponsorship for a local course. For overseas course, IRAS will partially sponsor you the amount same as the sponsorship for an equivalent local course.
Scholarships for local course cover:
• Maintenance allowance
• Pre-studies allowance
• Computer allowance
• Hostel allowance
• Miscellaneous allowance
• Tuition and other compulsory fees
• Attachment with IRAS
• Sponsorship of approved overseas exchange and Master’s programmes (if applicable)
• Mentoring by a member of the Senior Management

Scholarships for overseas course cover:
• Annual allowance (inclusive of maintenance and hostel allowances and tuition and compulsory fees based on a similar local course)
• Pre-studies allowance
• Computer allowance
• Miscellaneous allowance
• Return airfare (at beginning and end of course; for attachment in IRAS; to overseas exchange)
• Vacation attachment with IRAS

• Tuition and other compulsory fees
• Return airfare (at beginning and end of course; for attachment in IRAS; to overseas exchange)
• Vacation attachment with IRAS
• Sponsorship of approved overseas exchange and Masters programmes (if applicable)

IMDA National Infocomm Scholarship (NIS)

• Up to 6 months of local/overseas work attachment in an infocomm related role (as approved by IMDA)
• Funding support for courses and certifications for scholars to upgrade themselves with industry-relevant skills

Bond Duration: 4 types of scholarships under NIS, with the following bond period:
Full Local Scholarship:
3 years bond

Full Overseas Scholarship:
5 years bond

Fast Track Bachelors-Masters Scholarship:
4 years bond

Mid-term Local/Overseas Scholarship:
1 to 4 years bond dependent on the duration of sponsorship

IMDA Media Education Scholarship (MES) and MES (Film)

Courses / Disciplines: Media-related courses
Universities / Institutions: Local autonomous universities and/or renowned overseas universities
Value & Benefits: • Tuition & other compulsory university fees (including compulsory health insurance)
• Annual living allowance from sponsoring media company (does not apply to MES (Film) scholars):
- $7,000 per year for Asian countries (including Singapore, but excluding Japan and Korea);
- $12,000 per year for Europe, Australia, Japan and Korea; and
- $14,000 for the United States of America
Requirements: • Be a Singapore citizen
• Possess good academic results
• Have a strong portfolio if applying for a creative or film-related course
• Have a good CCA record
• Possess a strong interest for a career in the media industry
Bond Duration: Bond Period is based on Total Scholarship Value:
Up to S$60,000:
3 years

Above S$60,000 and up to S$150,000:
4 years

Above S$150,000:
5 years

IMDA Infocomm Polytechnic (iPOLY) Scholarship

Courses / Disciplines: Infocomm-related courses
Universities / Institutions: The scholarship is only available for Singapore's 5 local Polytechnics :

• Ngee Ann Polytechnic
• Nanyang Polytechnic
• Temasek Polytechnic
• Republic Polytechnic
Value & Benefits: • Full tuition fees and compulsory polytechnic fees
• One-time laptop allowance
• Courses and certifications sponsorship support
• Overseas work attachment expenses (up to 6 months) covering:
- Economy class return airfare
- Monthly attachment allowances
Requirements: • Be a Singapore citizen
• Possess good 'O' level results
• Have excellent Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) records
• Possess a strong interest in infocomm industry; and
• Matriculate into an approved infocomm-related course*
offered at any of the five local polytechnics

• Applicants must satisfy criteria for and seek admission into a full-time/part-time postgraduate cyber security related course in a reputable Singapore or overseas university (for PhD studies only)
