Rub the Toe, Yale University

There is a tradition at Yale University that prospective “yalies” should rub the toe of the Theodore Dwight Woolsey, class of 1820 and former president of Yale University, statue for luck.

But this “tradition” has a little sting in the tail – just before graduation, upperclassmen seem to urinate on that same toe.
