Courses / Disciplines: Infocomm Media-related courses (i.e. courses under Information & Digital Technologies cluster or Arts, Design & Media cluster)

• Nanyang Polytechnic
• Ngee Ann Polytechnic
• Republic Polytechnic

Value & Benefits: • Full tuition fees and compulsory polytechnic fees
• One-time computer allowance
• Funding support for courses and certification
• Funding support for overseas exposure including Internships, student exchange programme, study trips, overseas competition etc.

Requirements: • Singapore citizen
• Fresh "O" Level Graduate
• Have good Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) records
• Possess a strong interest in Infocomm Media
• Matriculate into an approved Infocomm Media-related studies (as approved by IMDA) offered at any of the five local polytechnics

Universities / Institutions: Local autonomous universities/approved institutions or renowned overseas universities
Value & Benefits: • Tuition and other compulsory university fees
• Living allowance
• One-time Pre-studies allowance including settling-in and computer allowance
• Funding support for overseas exposure including Internships, student exchange programme, study trips, overseas competition etc.
• Funding support for courses and certifications
Requirements: • Singapore citizen
• Have good Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) records
• Have a strong portfolio if applying for a creative or film-related course
• Possess a strong interest in Infocomm Media
• Current full-time student taking his/her first Infocomm Media-related undergraduate programme in a local autonomous university or local arts institution or renowned overseas university with minimally one academic year of study remaining from the point of scholarship award; or
• Candidate who has yet to enroll in any full-time Infocomm Media-related undergraduate programme and will commence studies for their first degree within one year from the point of scholarship award;
Bond Duration: Flexibility to serve your bond in an Infocomm Media-related job role in any organisation and any industry, subject to IMDA's approval.
• Local: 1 to 3 years bond dependent on the duration of sponsorship
• Fast Track Bachelors-Masters: 4 years bond
• Full/Mid-term Overseas: 2 to 5 years bond dependent on the duration of sponsorship

Universities / Institutions: Local autonomous universities or renowned overseas universities
Value & Benefits: Full-time Masters or PhD Studies:
• Tuition and other compulsory university fees
• One-time pre-studies allowance including settling-in and computer allowance
• Living allowance and/or stipend, and relevant allowances (e.g. thesis allowance)
• Funding support for overseas exposure including Internships, student exchange programme, study trips, overseas competition etc.
• Funding support for courses and certifications

Part-time Masters Studies:
• Tuition and other compulsory university fees
• Funding support for courses and certifications for scholars to upgrade themselves with industry-relevant skills
Requirements: • Singapore citizen
• Current student taking his/her first Infocomm Media-related postgraduate programme in a local autonomous university or local arts institution or renowned overseas university with minimally one academic year of study remaining from the point of scholarship award; or
• Candidate who has yet to enroll in any Infocomm Media-related postgraduate programme and will commence his/her first Masters or PhD within one year from the point of scholarship award;
• Online or distance learning courses and part-time PhD programmes are not eligible;
• Not a recipient of, or hold any other scholarship or other award of a monetary nature (excluding bursary and financial aid); and
• Priority will be given to non-public officers. Public officers are encouraged to apply in-house schemes available in their organisations.
• Fresh graduates or professionals are welcome to apply.
Bond Duration: Flexibility to serve your bond in an Infocomm Media-related job role in any organisation and any industry, subject to IMDA's approval.

For Masters studies:
• Overseas: 2 to 3 years bond dependent on the duration of sponsorship
• Full-time local: 1 to 2 years bond
• Part-time local: No bond

For PhD studies:
• Overseas: 3 to 5 years bond dependent on the duration of sponsorship
• Local: No bond

IRAS Merit Undergraduate Scholarship

Courses / Disciplines: You may pursue any course of study that has relevance to the different areas of work in IRAS.
Universities / Institutions: Approved local universities and top overseas universities
Value & Benefits: The scholarship gives you the flexibility to choose to study either a local or overseas course. You will receive full sponsorship for a local course. For overseas courses, IRAS will partially sponsor you the same amount as the sponsorship for an equivalent local course.

Local scholarships cover:
• Maintenance allowance (inclusive of hostel allowance and book allowance)
• Pre-studies allowance
• Computer allowance
• Miscellaneous allowance
• Tuition and other compulsory fees
• Attachment with IRAS
• Sponsorship of approved overseas exchange and Masters programme (if applicable)
• Mentoring by a member of the Senior Management

Overseas scholarships cover:
• Annual allowance (inclusive of maintenance and hostel allowance, tuition and compulsory fees based on a similar local course)
• Pre-studies allowance
• Computer allowance
• Miscellaneous allowance
• Return airfare (for attachment in IRAS to overseas exchange)
• Attachment with IRAS
• Sponsorship of approved overseas exchange (if applicable)
• Mentoring by a member of the Senior Management

Courses / Disciplines: You may pursue any course of study that has relevance to the different areas of work in IRAS.

Value & Benefits: Overseas scholarships cover:
• Maintenance allowance (inclusive of book allowance)
• Pre-studies allowance (inclusive of warm clothing and settling-in allowance)
• Computer allowance
• Miscellaneous allowance
• Tuition and other compulsory fees
• Return airfare (at beginning and end of course; for attachment in IRAS; to overseas exchange)
• Attachment with IRAS
• Sponsorship of approved overseas exchange and Masters programme (if applicable)
• Mentoring by a member of the Senior Management

Value & Benefits: • Backpayment of tuition fees and allowances for completed years of study
• Benefits for scholarships for overseas courses are the same as the IRAS Overseas Undergraduate scholarships
• Benefits for scholarships for local courses are the same as the IRAS Merit Undergraduate scholarships for local courses

• Good unversity results for existing undergraduates
• Singapore citizens and permanent residents (PRs) intending to take up citizenship
