Starting in the Middle

However, the time during university gave me the opportunity to explore my career interests further and I concluded a job in the public service would provide me with work life satisfaction beyond monetary terms.”

“Taking up the SgIS Mid-Term allowed me to better understand the industry and its requirements. Three years of undergraduate study in electronics engineering and a full semester at the sponsoring organisation gave me the conviction to fully commit myself to a scholarship with a sponsoring organisation. I believe that one can never be a 100% sure if a company or even an industry is a good fit for them until they get their feet wet and experience it for themselves. The SgIS Mid-Term allowed me to do just that.”
