The BrightSparks Scholarship Fair is back as the BrightSparks Virtual Fair (BSP Virtual Fair) and it’s better than ever! Over 15 organisations and educational institutes will be present to help you with your educational journey. There’s also educational counselling, giveaways, and more!

With all this going on, figuring out how to spend your two days at the fair can be confusing. Hence, we have some simple recommendations to ensure you get the most out of the experience:

1.     Register early for webinars!

All webinars require signing up to attend, so we recommend you do so early to ensure you get a slot. (Psst… organisations like Changi Airport Group and MOH Holdings are filling up fast.)

Webinars are a great way to learn about what an organisation is about, what sort of scholarship options they offer, and what sort of career you can expect with them. You may also pick up handy tips for standing out during the assessment and interview!

2.     Chat and interact with an organisation of choice!

Like a physical event, organisations have opened booths where you can meet their representatives and discuss your options. This is a great way to network with people from the organisation and get answers to any specific questions you may have. As webinars tend to cover a general overview of an organisation’s offerings, go to the booth to learn the specifics.

You can live chat with representatives from the various organisations, and also speak to them after webinars.

3.     Sign up for educational counselling!

While webinars and talking to representatives will help you learn a lot about scholarships, there is a whole other part to it – actually getting a place in university.

Be sure to stop by the universities' booths to learn more about their programmes and educational philosophy.
