1. Can I apply if I am studying overseas?

SP Group scholarships are only open to students enrolled in local universities in Singapore.


2. What is the bond period?

For a full-term scholarship, the bond period is typically 3 to 4 years, depending on your course of study. For mid-term scholars, the bond duration will be adjusted based on the number of academic years remaining.


3. How are scholars selected?

The selection process includes an online application, shortlisting based on academic results and co-curricular achievements, followed by interviews and a written assessment.


4. What kind of degree courses are supported?

We primarily support engineering-related disciplines such as Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.


5. Is there an internship requirement during my studies?

Yes. All scholars are required to complete at least one internship with SP Group to gain real-world experience and better understand our operations.


6. Will I receive mentorship or career guidance?

Absolutely! Each scholar will be mentored on the job and enrolled in structured development programmes alongside hands-on training throughout their scholarship journey.


7. What happens after I graduate?

You will be posted to key engineering functions within SP Group, where you will contribute to impactful projects and continue developing your career through hands-on experience and structured growth opportunities.


8. When is the application period?

9. Can I apply for both the full-term and mid-term scholarships?

No, applicants should only apply for either the full-term or mid-term scholarship, depending on their current academic standing.


10. Are there any other scholarship programmes for non-engineering students?

SP Group scholarships are currently only open to students studying Electrical, Power and Mechanical Engineering programme in University.
