As a Geospatial Scholar, you will plan and drive the implementation of the Singapore Geospatial Masterplan and its key initiatives to serve citizens, the industry and the Government. You can expect to manage projects, perform geospatial analytics and
consultancy work for our public agencies.

You will get an opportunity to formulate and implement strategies to develop, promote and proliferate geospatial information science and technology to improve policy making and delivery of government services.

Disciplines of Study
  • Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Environmental Studies, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Project Management with a minor in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) OR
  • Bachelor of Science (Geographic Information Science) awarded by University at Buffalo, offered by SIM Global Education OR
  • Courses of study relating to Geomatics Engineering and Geospatial & Geoinformation Sciences

Boustead-Esri Scholarship

Boustead Singapore and Esri have launched a Post Graduate Scholarship program that aims to help individuals fulfil their aspirations of having a geospatial career.

Each year, the Boustead-Esri Geospatial Scholarship is awarded to two applicants who have successfully enrolled in National University of Singapore's (NUS) MSc in Applied GIS program.

This scholarship will open many doors for your Gesopatial career!

During the course of your study, you may also apply for industrial attachments, including with SLA, to gain insights into the GIS profession.
