Singapore Geomatics Scholarship
Overseas
Have you ever wondered how a country manages its land resources, carries out urban planning, or executes infrastructure development? A key enabler that underpins all these critical tasks is accurate geographic data and information. This is where Geomatics Engineering comes into the picture. It is a discipline that focuses on the collection, processing, analysis, management, distribution, and presentation of geographic data into meaningful geo-information. Simply put, a Geomatics Engineer is responsible for capturing large amount of real world data and translating them into accurate digital information that support data-driven decision making within the public sector.
