Healthcare Administration Scholarship

The Healthcare Administration Scholarship is offered under the Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS). It is for students who wish to pursue a meaningful and challenging career as a healthcare administrator in Singapore’s public healthcare sector.

Full-Term
Offered to recent A-Level, Diploma or equivalent qualification (e.g. International Baccalaureate (IB) or NUS high school diploma) graduates.
Mid-Term
Offered to current undergraduates pursuing non-healthcare related disciplines.
Eligibility
  • Singapore Citizen
  • Good co-curricular activities record and strong leadership qualities
  • Passion for serving in the public healthcare sector
  • Good communication skills
Full-Term
  • Achieve outstanding A-Level results, diploma with merit/distinction or equivalent qualifications (e.g. International Baccalaureate (IB) or NUS high school diploma)
Mid-Term
  • Achieve outstanding academic results and on track to graduate with at least Second Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent

  • One-time grant as partial coverage for university-related expenses
Career Opportunities
  • You will be able to work in a public healthcare institution, MOH, MOHH, AIC or IHiS. There will be opportunities to broaden your exposure and deepen your experience in various departments in a public healthcare institution.
Courses of Study
  • All disciplines such as Business, Accountancy, Economics, Psychology* except for Medicine, Dentistry and other healthcare related disciplines.

    * Please note that you will not be practicing as a Clinical Psychologist upon graduation. For Clinical Psychology, you may apply for our Healthcare Graduate Studies Award.
