Scholars gain a comprehensive research experience through a 1-year research attachment at A*STAR, providing hands-on skills to thrive in the global research community.

Local PhDs
The A*STAR Graduate Scholarship enables aspiring researchers to pursue PhD studies in biomedical sciences, chemistry, physics engineering, and other related fields. Scholars will gain deep research experience at A*STAR, contributing to impactful scientific work while completing their PhD at a local university. The scholarship also includes support for a 12-month overseas attachment to broaden global research exposure.
