  • All full-time disciplines with the exception of those enrolled in healthcare-related courses

Tenable Universities
  • Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
  • National University of Singapore (NUS)
  • Singapore Institute of Techonology with Newcastle University (SIT-NU)
  • Singapore Management University (SMU)
  • Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS)
  • All other local public universities to be considered on a case-by-case basis

Value of Awards and Benefits

NTU/NUS/SMU/SUSS:
Year of study Year 1 – 4
Value ($) S$14.5K per annum
Additional Benefit
  • One-time disbursement of up to S$10K for Overseas Student Exchange Programme

SIT-NU:
Year of study Year 1 – 3
Value ($) S$16.7K per annum
Additional Benefit
  • One-time disbursement of up to S$5K for Overseas Immersion Programme (For Year 1 students)

Bond Requirements
  • 1 year bond to PSA for every year of study sponsored, with a maximum of 4 bond years for NTU/NUS/SMU/SUSS students and 3 bond years for SIT-NU students.

General Requirements
  • Outstanding academic results
  • Good leadership skills and character
  • Active CCA records demonstrating leadership qualities and community involvement
  • Demonstrate interest in maritime business and intention to pursue a career in the maritime industry


Eligibility
  • Singapore Citizen or Singapore PR
  • Excellent ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level or ITE results
  • Excellent ‘A’ Level results or Polytechnic Diploma Qualification
  • Excellent University results
