SIA Overseas Scholarships

- Applicant must:
- Be of Malay ethnicity / Muslim (for SIA-Mendaki Undergraduate Scholarship)
- Belong to an Indian sub-ethnic group (for SIA-SINDA Undergraduate Scholarship)
- Strong academic records in Secondary School / Institute of Technical Education (ITE) / Polytechnic / Junior College / International Baccalaureate School
- Strong leadership qualities as demonstrated in Co-Curricular Activities (CCAs) and National Service* (if applicable)
Condition of Awards:
Successful applicants are required to sign a bond to serve Singapore Airlines for six years.
Value of Awards:
- Reimbursement of university application and entrance test fees for up to three approved universities
- One-off pre-studies allowance
- Tuition and other compulsory fees
- Annual maintenance allowance
- One Economy Class ticket on SIA services from Singapore to the country of study at the beginning of the course and from the country of study to Singapore at the end of the course
- One Economy Class return ticket on SIA services, subject to availability of seats at check-in, i.e., subject-to-load travel, from the country of study to Singapore, per academic year, for vacation attachment, leisure or other purpose approved by SIA
- Internship attachments to SIA

If you are interested to study locally, SIA offers the following scholarships:SIA Mid-Term Local Undergraduate Scholarships
- The SIA Mid-Term Local Undergraduate Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship for students currently pursuing university education. Applicants should have an interest in aviation, strong academic records and leadership qualities as demonstrated in Co-Curricular Activities (CCA). All nationalities may apply.
- Successful applicants are required to sign a bond to serve Singapore Airlines for 2-3 years and be attached to Singapore Airlines for internships.
Singapore-Industry Scholarships (SgIS)
- The Singapore-Industry Scholarship (SgIS) is an undergraduate scholarship for students at various stages of their university education who are keen to contribute to leading organisations in Singapore’s strategic sectors. Singapore Citizens may apply.
