Our Scholarships
SFA jointly offers scholarships under the Singapore Sustainability Scholarships (SSS) umbrella together with two other Statutory Boards under the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) - The National Environment Agency (NEA) and PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency.
We are looking for game-changers who are passionate in developing solutions and staying ahead of the curve to ensure a sustainable supply of safe food both now and in the future.

- Strong academic results for first degree in relevant disciplines
- Currently enrolled/ have applied/ intend to apply for a Master’s/ PhD programme at an established local/overseas university
- Individuals with work experience/ fresh graduates/ early-career individuals/undergraduates in final year of study who are interested to contribute to SFA's mission are welcome to apply for the scholarship

Full-term scholarship

Mid-term scholarship
- Tuition fees and other compulsory fees (Including back-payment of tuition fees and other compulsory fees incurred prior to award)
- Maintenance allowance (From point of award)
- One-way economy class airfare from country of study (For overseas scholarship)
- Other approved expenses incurred in relation to the postgraduate programme
Bond Period
- Master’s: 3 years with SFA upon completion of studies
- PhD: 6 years with SFA upon completion of studies
