We organise various career and scholarship engagement events throughout the year. Check out the timeline for more information and mark them down on your calendars!

    School Career/Scholarship Fairs & Talks

    "The SPF collaborates with various academic institutions to organise career/scholarship fairs and talks annually. Students will have the opportunity to interact with our SPF officers to find out more information."

    As the career/scholarship fairs and talks are spread out across the months of January to July, kindly approach your institution's teacher/staff in-charge for more details.

    SPF Summer Internship Programme

    "The SPF Summer Internship Programme is a 10-week internship programme for students from the various local universities during the annual summer holidays (i.e. May – July). The internship programme aims to provide students, who are keen to consider a future policing career, an insight into the work that SPF does.

    Interested students can keep a lookout for available projects via the respective universities' career/internship portal and submit your applications between 1 December to 31 January."


    Youth @ SPF

    The Youth@SPF is an interactive one-day programme where students will participate in various hands-on activities following a series of pre-event virtual engagements. The programme provides students with an opportunity to understand more about the SPF's latest crime-fighting and crime prevention capabilities while interacting with SPF officers.

    Women in Policing Scholarships Reception

    The Women in Policing (WIP) Scholarships Reception is a one-day programme exclusively for female students only. Students will not only have the opportunity to interact with our female SPF officers to hear from their experiences, but will also learn more about how they can potentially contribute to safeguarding every day.


    Aspiring Leaders Programme

    "The Aspiring Leaders Programme (ALP) is one of two events that shortlisted students for the SPF Book Prize are required to attend.

    The ALP is an insightful two-day experiential programme where students will embark on a learning journey across SPF specialist units and departments. The learning journey provides students with opportunities to understand more about the SPF's latest crime-fighting and crime prevention capabilities, while interacting with SPF officers."


    SPF Book Prize Selection Day

    "The Book Prize Selection Day (BPSD) is one of two events that shortlisted students for the SPF Book Prize are required to attend.

    The BPSD is an exciting one-day assessment programme where students will partake in a simulated Operations Planning Exercise. The assessment programme allows students a glimpse into some of the behind-the-scenes work that goes into planning for an operational exercise while being conducted in a fun and educational setting."

    SPF Book Prize Application

    "The SPF Book Prize is awarded to students in recognition of their academic excellence and stellar co-curricular activities. Every year, the SPF presents the SPF Book Prize to 20 second-year Junior College and Year 6 International Baccalaureate students. Interested students may submit your applications between 1 November to 31 January."

    SPF End-of-Year Internship Programme

    "The SPF End-of-Year Internship Programme is an internship programme for pre-university students across the various academic institutions. The internship programme can last up to six months and it aims to provide students, who are keen to consider an SPF scholarship, an opportunity to find out more about the organisation."

    Interested students can approach your institution's teachers to find out more information and submit your applications between 1 June to 31 August.
