Our Scholarships

SFA jointly offers scholarships under the Singapore Sustainability Scholarships (SSS) umbrella together with two other Statutory Boards under the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) - The National Environment Agency (NEA) and PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency.

We are looking for game-changers who are passionate in developing solutions and staying ahead of the curve to ensure a sustainable supply of safe food both now and in the future.

SFA Diploma Scholarship ( Application till 2022-11-25 )
This scholarship is suitable for applicants interested to pursue or are currently pursuing a diploma in Food Science, Aquacultural Science or Biotechnology at a local Polytechnic. Students will be required to do a 6-week internship with SFA as part of the application process.

Eligibility
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents intending to take up Singapore Citizenship
  • Students pursuing a diploma course in a relevant field of study at a local polytechnic
  • Have attained at least 1 semester of academic results

  • Tuition fees and other compulsory fees of the diploma course (Including backpayment of tuition fees and other compulsory fees incurred prior to award)

Bond Period
2 years with SFA upon completion of diploma studies
The SFA Diploma Scholarship opens for applications annually in the fourth quarter of the calendar year. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted before end-March.
