Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be Singapore Citizen/Singapore Permanent Residents who are willing to take up citizenship
- Demonstrate Strong leadership qualities such as collaborative mindset and learning orientation
- Present themselves as well-rounded individuals, possessing good academic and non-academic records
Academic Requirements:
HPB Undergraduate Scholarship (Full-Term)
- Outstanding A-levels, International Baccalaureate, NUS High School Diploma, Polytechnic Diploma with Merit, or Other high school diploma or equivalent
HPB Undergraduate Scholarship (Mid-Term)
- Outstanding academic results and expect to graduate with at least Second-Class Upper Honours or equivalent
- Applications should be submitted before the final year of your undergraduate studies.
Course of Study
- Majority of the disciplines except Medicine, Dentistry, Accountancy, Legal and all Allied Health Sciences
Bond Duration
Full-Term Scholarship
- 4 years (local university)
- 6 years (overseas university)
Mid-Term Scholarship (Local)
- The bond period would correspond to the duration of the student’s sponsored course period
Value of Award
- Tuition and compulsory fees
- Monthly maintenance allowance
- Pre-study allowance (for Full-Term only)
- Return economy airfare (for overseas studies)
- Sponsorship for student exchange/summer school (subject to HPB’s approval)
