SFA offers our scholars development opportunities including job rotations to different areas of work (i.e. operations, research & laboratory, and policy & planning), secondment to other agencies, technical and management training.
|Since its formation in April 2019, SFA has joined the two agencies under the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) - National Environment Agency (NEA) and PUB, Singapore’s National Water Agency - to offer the Singapore Sustainability (SS) Scholarship (formerly known as the National Environment and Water (NEW) Scholarship).|

The SS Scholarship opens for applications from October annually and closes 2 weeks after the release of the GCE ‘A’ Level results in Singapore. Applicants for mid-term scholarship will also apply during this period. The main cycle is offered by SFA, NEA and PUB. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted before end-April for the main cycle offered by SFA, NEA and PUB.
The SS Scholarship (mid-cycle) offered by SFA only opens from 1 July 2021 to 9 August 2021. All applications are to be submitted through BrightSparks Portal. The Scholarships Team will review all applications submitted via the portal and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for further selection. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by Kosh Consulting Group (Asia) Pte Ltd (KCGA), the appointed contractor before end-September 2021.
