Our Scholarships

SFA jointly offers scholarships under the Singapore Sustainability Scholarships (SSS) umbrella together with two other Statutory Boards under the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment (MSE) - The National Environment Agency (NEA) and PUB, Singapore's National Water Agency.

We are looking for game-changers who are passionate in developing solutions and staying ahead of the curve to ensure a sustainable supply of safe food both now and in the future.

Eligibility
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents intending to take up Singapore Citizenship
  • Applicants presenting ‘A’ Levels, International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic Diploma or equivalent
  • Applicants for mid-term scholarship should have attained at least one semester of academic results

  • Tuition fees and other compulsory fees
  • Maintenance allowance
  • Pre-studies allowance (One-time)
  • Return economy class airfare (For overseas scholarship)
Mid-term scholarship
  • Tuition fees and other compulsory fees (Including backpayment of tuition fees and other compulsory fees incurred prior to award)
  • Monthly maintenance allowance (From point of award)
  • One-way economy class airfare from country of study (For overseas scholarship)
Bond
  • Local: 4 years
  • Overseas: 6 years
  • Overseas in non-English speaking countries: 5 years[1]

Application Details

There are 2 application windows for the SFA Undergraduate Scholarship, after the release of the GCE ‘A’ Level results in Singapore, and in the third quarter of the calendar year. Shortlisted applicants will be contacted before end-April and end-September, based on the timing of their application.

The SS Scholarship (mid-cycle) offered by SFA-only opens from 1 July to 9 August 2022.

The Scholarship Team will review all application submitted and only shortlisted candidates will be notified for further selection. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted by Kosh Consulting Group (Asia) Pte Ltd (KCGA), the appointed contractor before end-September 2022.
