The SPFS is one of the most prestigious scholarships awarded by the Public Service Commission. It is awarded to candidates who have shown outstanding leadership qualities, possess impeccable integrity and have a strong interest in policing work to safeguard our nation.

Courses / Disciplines:	Most disciplines except Medicine, Dentistry, and Architecture *Applicants intending to pursue a degree in Law will not be called to the Bar
Universities / Institutions:	Renowned overseas or local universities

Requirements:	You will need to: Be a Singapore Citizen Have strong leadership qualities and potential Have a keen interest in serving in the Singapore Police Force Have outstanding academic and Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) records Have a GCE A-Levels, International Baccalaureate, Polytechnic , NUS High School, or other high school diploma/certificate Excel in Officer Cadet School All MHA scholarships are open to male and female applicants. For female applicants: You will have to submit your application earlier to have enough time to prepare for enlistment into Basic Military Training (BMT) in the Singapore Armed Forces.
Bond Duration:	4 years bond (Local studies) 6 years bond (English speaking countries) 5 years bond (Non-English speaking countries)
