NHB Scholarship

Social Service Scholarship (Local)

Universities / Institutions: To pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at local universities which meet professional accreditation requirements (Psychology studies are only supported for postgraduate studies.)

Social Service Scholarship (Overseas)

Courses / Disciplines: • Social Work
• Psychology
• Occupational Therapy

Universities / Institutions: To pursue undergraduate and postgraduate studies at overseas universities which are of good standing and meet professional accreditation requirements
(Psychology studies are only supported for postgraduate studies.)

• Maintenance allowance

Courses / Disciplines: Undergraduate studies in fields to advance library development and to grow domain expertise: Library Science, Information Science, Southeast Asian Studies, South Asian Studies, History, English, Chinese, Literature, Geography, Contemporary China, etc.
Universities / Institutions: Local universities and approved overseas universities

Value & Benefits: The NLB Undergraduate Scholarship is a fully-funded programme that covers tuition and other compulsory fees, return airfare (for overseas scholarship), maintenance, and other allowances (where applicable)
Requirements: Students / graduates or equivalent who meet the following:
• Singapore citizen or permanent resident who must attain Singaporean citizenship before the award of scholarship
• Have excellent academic results: possess GCE 'A' Levels, International Baccalaureate (IB), Polytechnic Diploma

NUS Global Merit Scholarship

Courses / Disciplines: Any full-time undergraduate course leading to a first degree, except Dentistry, Medicine, Music, and Yale-NUS College

Value & Benefits: • Full subsidy for tuition fees (after MOE Tuition Grant subsidy)
• Annual living allowance of S$6,000
• S$2,800 annual accommodation allowance if scholar is staying on campus, S$2,905 if scholar is staying in Ridge View Residential College, or S$4,480 if scholar is staying in one of the University Town Residential Colleges
• One-time computer allowance of S$2,000
• S$7,500 Student Exchange Programme / NUS Overseas Colleges allowance per semester for non-Asian countries and Japan, and S$5,000 per semester for other Asian countries, for up to a maximum of 2 semesters
• Eligibility to enrol in the University Scholars Programme (USP) or University Town College Programme (UTCP)
