Industry Scholarships (University)
SGRail
Summary:
All
SGRail Industry Scholarships are centrally awarded and managed by the Land
Transport Authority, on behalf of Singapore’s rail sector. Rail scholars will
be exposed to projects in the Land Transport Authority and SBST Transit Pte Ltd
or SMRT Corporation Limited through a structured developmental programme.

MAS
Undergraduate Scholarship
Monetary
Authority of Singapore (MAS)
Summary:
Learn
and grow at the world’s best universities, embark on a rewarding career in a
dynamic organisation and shape the financial markets of tomorrow. All with one
prestigious award.
You
are free to take up any course of study at any reputable university, with the
exception of Medicine, Dentistry and Architecture. Given our wide range of
functions, MAS looks for diversity in our workforce, with creativity in
thinking and adaptability in style.
Students
in or before their penultimate year of undergraduate studies are eligible for
the MAS Mid-Term Undergraduate Scholarship. Upon completion of your studies,
you will be required to work for MAS for six years if you study overseas and
four years if you study locally.
Eligibility:

Academic criteria
If you are an A-Level candidate, you
should offer at least 11 academic units. Students offering 10 academic units
and with outstanding track records may be considered. All candidates are given equal
consideration regardless of the subjects they have taken. The scholarship is
also open to Polytechnic students and students who are taking the International
Baccalaureate. Students must have obtained at least 36 points from the IB
program to be considered.

Qualities
You should be an all-rounder who have
excelled in both academic and non-academic pursuits. A go-getter, you would
have demonstrated excellent leadership capabilities either in your CCAs or in
activities outside of school.

Nationality
The scholarship is open to Singapore
Citizens, and foreigners and Singapore Permanent Residents who will undertake
to obtain Singapore citizenship.
Application period: Application is open from 1 to 30
September for Provisional cycle, and 1 Jan to 10 calendar days after the
release of the GCE A Level results for the main cycle.
