·        Holding Singapore Citizenship

·        Have excellent GCE 'A' Level results or equivalent qualifications (e.g. International Baccalaureate, NUS High School Diploma) or Polytechnic Diploma

·        Have an outstanding co-curricular activities record

·        Have a passion for science and technology

2.     SAF Merit Scholarship

Scholarship Provider: MINDEF Scholarship Centre (MSC)

Summary: The SAF Merit Scholarship equips you with a world-class education and exposes you to training that will develop your operational know-how and expertise relevant to the organisation. You will be trained to meet the challenges of the new security environment and to lead your people to fulfil the mission.

Eligibility:

·        Singapore citizens or permanent residents intending to take up citizenship

·        Good GCE 'A' Level or International Baccalaureate results, Polytechnic Diploma (with Merit) or equivalent

·        Good co-curricular activities (CCA) records

·        Strong leadership qualities

·        Qualify for and excel in Officer Cadet School

·        Possess a strong interest in a military career

·        All MINDEF/SAF scholarships are open for application to both genders

3.     Community Nursing Scholarship (CNS)

Scholarship Provider: MOH Holdings Pte Ltd (MOHH)

Summary: The Community Nursing Scholarship (CNS) is a scholarship that aims to nurture the next generation of community nursing leaders. It is offered by MOH in partnership with the Regional Health Systems (RHSes) and community care providers, and aims to develop community nurse leaders to shape the future of community care.

Eligibility:

·        Be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident who will take up citizenship before embarking on studies

·        Possess good academic results, co-curricular activities record and communication skills

·        Be applying to take up nursing studies in local educational institutions (viz. Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP), Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP), Alice Lee Centre for Nursing Studies under National University of Singapore (NUS) or Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)) or a post-registration nursing degree programme in MOHH-approved local or overseas universities; or Be a current nursing student in local educational institutions (viz. NYP, NP, NUS or SIT)

·        Have a strong interest to serve in the community and possess leadership qualities.
