Interested in Investment Management as a future career? Considering a scholarship to give you a headstart for your future career? An exciting career awaits you with a GIC Scholarship

GIC's investment in people today will determine our continued ability to meet our mandate. The GIC Scholarship represents one of our key investments.

Our scholarships are open to pre-tertiary students, and are available for courses such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance/Banking, Mathematics, Engineering and Accountancy, at premier universities worldwide. They cover tuition fees, flights, accommodation, living expenses and other related expenses. We encourage our scholars to explore different opportunities during their studies, to help them develop holistically. These include, but are not limited to language courses, summer exchange programmes, and internships in external firms, and we are open to sponsoring these opportunities.

The scholarship is tenable for up to 4 years and can include sponsorship for Masters, subject to approval.

What we look for
We look for passionate and talented individuals who are excited about a career with us. We welcome applications from students who are consistent achievers in both the academic and co-curricular spheres, and have a strong interest in fund management.

Application Process
Applications open in mid-May this year for the Early Decision cycle, with a closing date of 17 June. Under the Early Decision cycle, provisional offers are expected to be made around December this year. Applications will remain open until mid-March next year after the release of GCE ‘A’ level results. Under the post-A levels cycle, offers are expected to be made around May next year.

Selection Process
We identify prospective scholars through a comprehensive selection process, which involves interviews, written tests and Assessment Centre. The Assessment Centre is a full-day session with individual and team-based activities. Candidates will be assessed on their adaptive abilities, their communication and analytical thinking skills. Successful candidates will then proceed to the final interview with our senior management.
