The iBuildSG Undergraduate Scholarship and Sponsorship programmes are offered by BCA, in collaboration with industry firms, to students of high calibre pursuing full-time built environment courses at local Universities and the BCA Academy. Through these programmes, graduates will enjoy opportunities to build on an exciting and rewarding career in the Built Environment sector.
The programme is structured in two stages. Stage 1 provides financial incentives during full-time undergraduate study while Stage 2 provides On-Job-Training and attractive retention incentives for graduates.
The scholarship/sponsorship is tenable for studies at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), Singapore University of Technology & Design (SUTD) and for undergraduate courses conducted by the BCA Academy (BCAA).
Eligibility
- Singapore Citizens (male Singaporean must have completed or be exempted from full time National Service, ORD personnel accepted for admission in 2018 can also apply) and Singapore Permanent Residents
- All other nationalities taking relevant engineering courses may also apply
- Open to 'A' level, Polytechnic/BCAA graduates and NUS/NTU/SIT/SUTD/BCAA undergraduates
- Outstanding academic results

Value of Award & Bond
Stage 1 (Full-time study)
- Scholarship
- For local scholars: $18,000 per annum
- For foreign scholars in relevant engineering courses: $14,000 per annum
- Sponsorship
- For local candidates: $10,000 per annum
Stage 2 (Post-Degree Development)
- For local scholars and sponsored students only
- Stage 2 will last for 2 years with a sponsor firm
- Retention incentive of $7,000 (1 year after bond completion or Stage 2 completion)
- Training grant of $3,000 (to be unlocked after bond completion or Stage 2 completion)
Conditions of Award
- A minimum 2-year bond duration with the sponsor company is required.
